l found this rice cooker spluttered hot gooey water everywhere with lid on, making a real mess, l now use it with lid off, to stop the spluttering and mess, not satisfactory.

Not a very good cooker, the hot water splutters and falls outside. If you do not keep a close watch the rice might get brunt at the bottom.

bought this item, have used a few times. rice is made very well, instructions that came with it are very minimum

I thought the rice cooker was excellent value for money and did exactly what it said on the box. Enough rice for 2 people is cooked in less than 15 minutes, then the cooker automatically switches to 'keep warm' mode which keeps your rice warm until you need to serve it up. You can also add other ingredients to your rice to make different varieties and this machine also acts as a steamer for chicken/fish/veg etc. No more standing by the cooker to keep checking whether your pan is boiling dry, you can switch the rice cooker on and leave it until your ready to eat. The teflon basin is also easily cleaned,no more scrubbing burnt rice off your saucepans!

Having seen rice cookers in the home of Japanese friends decided to buy this one.Despite following manufacturer's instructions to the letter it never cooks the rice properly and almost always boils over making a horrible sticky mess.An utter waste of money, am throwing it away this weekend.
